속초가 좋은 이유는 많지만 그 중에서 3개만 꼽으라면, <1. 설악산 2. 바다 3. 온천>이라고 할 수 있습니다.

속초에 살면 동네 목욕탕 가는 값으로 온천욕을 즐길 수 있습니다. 그래서 낚시꾼과 저는 1,2주에 한번씩 척산 온천에 갑니다. 그런데 몇일전부터 척산 온천에서 배즙을 판다고 합니다. 일찍 목욕을 끝내고 나와 저를 기다리고 있던 낚시꾼의 강력한 요청(?)으로 배즙 1상자와 칡즙 1상자를 샀습니다.
If you live in Sokcho, you can enjoy bathing in the hot spring very cheaply. So Fisherman and I go to Chucksan Hot Spring very often, almost once in a week. When we went there a few days ago, we found that they sold pear juice and kudzu juice. Fisherman really wanted to buy them and we bought both of them.

배즙은 척산온천에서 직접 운영하는 과수원에서 키운 배를 즙낸 것이라고 하고, 칡즙은 설악산 칡 100%를 즙낸 거라고 합니다. 칡은 낚시꾼이 애용식품 중 하나지요.
Pear juice was made from crop that they had raised by themselves and Kudzu was collected in Mt. Seorak.
Kudzu juice is Fisherman's favorite.
